All you do is go to C:Program Files and make a 'ProFantasy' folder. Then drag and drop the CC3 folder (keep in mind there is a CC3 folder inside the CC3 folder when you download this bad torrent uploader) into ProFantasy folder. Note you want the one thats inside the original CC3 folder.

Hi All, So it seems like we're getting an influx of map creation tools and I was wondering anything you were eyeing in particular, or something I might have missed? Right now I know of the three I listed. I can use my maps in commercial products which is also attractive. To me this is the big thing about CC3+. MapForge does look great but I'm not sure if I'm even allowed to post my maps for free online, it isn't too clear in the Kickstarter. I created a [crappy] map for my CoS session and posted it online for anyone else to use, even with symbols from one of the symbol sets, all without risk of lawyers hitting me up.
It does have a large learning curve though, but I'm okay with the challenge. Speaking of which, any more videos upcoming for CC3+, sklore? 'MapForge does look great but I'm not sure if I'm even allowed to post my maps for free online, it isn't too clear in the Kickstarter.' MapForge lets you post your maps online, even publish or sell them, IF you use your own artwork, or artwork you've downloaded that has been cleared for such use, or artwork from the 9 MapForge Add-Ons announced to date that are cleared for publishing or commercial use. The vast majority of MapForge Add-Ons are for 'Personal Use Only' (share with your game group or in a VTT game session, or use the maps at a game convention). Thanks for the response! I've checked out CC 3+ and it really does seem awesome, but rather expensive.

What's your experience with the basic version vs buying add ons? Me and my girlfriend are trying to make a world basically middle earth style. Would there be enough variation to not make one town look the same as the other? Or more specifically a human capital city vs a dwarven fortress? I noticed city/dungeon designer add-ons, would I be able to look what those contents are before I decide to shell out $40?
May I also have a link to your videos as someone posted you do? Thanks again so much!
I don't think it is really that expensive when you consider what you get. This is a program with 10 years of development. Not just a kickstarter that may or may not be successful. That means there are tutorials, community and a seriously huge amount of free assets (check the forums). There's absolutely enough variation.
