You can get it working with Win7 but not using the software that came with it. If you plug it in the the USB port on the computer you should get a new hardware thing pop up. Then you can go to Control Panel > Scanners and Cameras and it should appear in the list. Click on it and the Microsoft version of the software will appear allowing you to see through the scope. On my machine it's a bit on the small side though so I hunted round the web for some free software which allows me to use and record video.
